WEEK 53: december 28... part 1

this day has been really wonderful! we spent the whole day in disneyland! i am sharing lots of photos!!

WEEK 53: december 28... part 2

and right outside disney we walked around to see the night market. they were selling lots of stuff--
caramel coated apples

chocolate coated marshmallow and fruits

different flavors of candy on a stick

pastries

chestnuts

hot wine

and some other hot drinks -- chocolate, nutella, almond, milk-chocolate...

and then we ate dinner in this really nice restaurant.



so that's about it... we got home a little past midnight.

WEEK 52: december 26 - 27...

december 27 -- another wonderful post christmas celebration with friends. thank you, indra, for such a lovely evening -- delicious food and fun games!



december 26 -- on our way to church, we stopped by champs elysee to take some pictures. my dear husband was kind enough to give in to my request to go in the middle of the traffic to get a better picture of champs elysee...

WEEK 52: december 25...

the first photo was taken just a little after midnigt. after the christmas eve mass, we went straight to a party hosted by a couple from church. it was really a wonderdful gathering and we enjoyed it. and i just have to mention that the food were really good....

ok, as soon as the kids woke up, they rushed to eat breakfast so they could open up santa's gift. they received 2 gifts each from santa!!

we waited for our friends to arrive. we had lunch then i distributed the rest of the gifts...

oh..remember the package that i didn't show you...the one i bought for myself...? well, this is it!! a new longchamp bag for me!!!!

we dressed up little baby moira!! our little baby santa!!

and late in the afternoon... we had videoke!!!

we were really glad they joined us for christmas day. it made christmas extra special.

WEEK 52: december 24

i have a couple of photos to share with you.
it has been a busy day for me. i need to start cooking some stuff i will be serving christmas day. i have some friends coming over to celebrate christmas with us. i finished up cleaning the house so it will be all set for christmas day. then, here is my first photo... the cookies i made!! they are oatmeal-walnut-choco chip cookies!!! i think i made a little over 80 pcs of cookies to give to my friends. and of course, isabelle had to taste them first...hahaha. i did save some for the kids.

we attended the evening mass. i led the carol singing before the mass. and this is the photo of the nativity.

WEEK 52: december 21-23...

december 23 -- the kids were glad that nitz was home (he is on leave from this day til new year...yipeee!!!!) as promised, they played monopoly early that morning while i try to tidy the house a bit. their game didn't last long because sofia kept on messing up the money and the cards.

december 22 -- i got to attend the choir practise!! the choir practises at church every tuesday nights (8pm) but i never get to attend that regularly. actually almost never...hahaha. but since nitz was not too busy in the office anymore, he can come home early (7pm...actually that is not early but normally he comes home at 8pm).i was glad to have attended, we practised songs for the christmas eve mass.

decmber 21 -- ok..so i was going through my file and i couldn't find any picture for december 21. did i forget????? then looking over and over again to my photos, i noticed that the last photo i posted in december 20 (the picture of gifts under the tree... was for december 21!!!! it was already after midnight when i took that picture... so if you want to see it again just scroll down a bit.

CHRISTMAS!!!

i know i am a week late on my posts....i will take care of that after today.

first of all merry christmas to all of you!! thank you for visiting me here and leaving wonderful comments for me...they really mean so much to me. from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

today, we are just here at home with some friends eating (a lot...hahaha) singing and just enjoying this wonderful day. i did get to chat with my whole family back in the philippines and my in-laws too. i miss them so much.

this is just a quick post to greet you all...gotta go back to the party!!!

WEEK 51: december 20 ...

it was snowing quite heavily that morning but it didn't last too long. i was busy the whole morning because i was having guests over (again!!). i spent the morning cleaning the house, setting up the dinning table and cooking! finally around 2pm, our guests arrived: sis. milet, bro. raffy, haydee and jon with moira.

we also had meringue and french macaroons.

the whole afternoon was spent eating, singing and dancing. haydee's sister came too!! we had so much fun!!

and here all the the gifts under our tree. so much has been added...gifts from friends. but we all have to wait til christmas to open them!

WEEK 51: december 19 ...

we had a early christmas celebration with our dear friend Cecile and Thomas.

i got the chance to use my christmas plates for the first time!! we had salad, lasagna, and baked chicken wings for lunch.

after lunch, we played monopoly (actually isabelle requested it....).


it was quite a wonderful afternoon...
went to mass at 6:30, i sang for that mass.

WEEK 51: december 18 ...

i was surprised with the gift bentonflocke sent with her card. i felt a bit sad that it was all broken... it took me some time to figure out what it is...

but i did figure it out and was able to glue them together...and now they are hanging on our tree. thank you again, bentonflocke, for this wonderful ornament!!
