while we were waiting for the bus i took this picture. this is paris during early winter (or late fall...) grey, wet and gloomy.

november 2 -- my gift for my dh arrived today!! he is not really into new gadgets but i insisted to buy him something special. so this is it -- his new 3G!!

WEEK 44: november 1...

when i woke up i called my family in batangas (philippines). my sister and her family, and my brother with her kids all went home. they all visited my dad in the cemetery. i remember when i was younger, i look forward to november 1 and 2. whenever we visit the cemetery i would see some relatives that i rarely see,and some old friends visiting their realtives too. back then i would just pray and talk to my grandmother (the mother of my dad) and my brother (the one before me who died when he was just a baby). but this time it would have been totally different because of dad. i really miss my dad... and i wasn't able to visit him. i just prayed for my dad when we heard mass. i love you, dad.

well, we just stayed home. it was raining the whole day. i just took pictures from inside the apartment:

leaves all over the side walk. i guess most of the people stayed at home because of the weather, the leaves on the sidewalk seemed undisturbed.

this is the vintage car of the old lady who lives in our building. she is a very sweet lady who speaks very well english but there are times when i think she forgets that i don't really understand french and she would still talk to me in french eventhough we have conversed in english one time.

the bare trees in front of our apartment... well.. almost bare.

WEEK 44: october 31... last day of october

i now there is one more day remaining for week 44 but i decided to just post november 1 separately.
we had a very easy saturday... i didn't cantor the saturday anticipated mass so i didn't spend the morning practising songs. we just went out to shop for clothes and shoes for the kids. i love shopping!! some photos of the kids at the mall.

WEEK 44: october 29 - 30...

october 30 --the day passed by so quickly i almost forgot to take my picture! so i decided to take a picture of my arm with this super 'cool' (hahaha) wrist guards. i am suffering from carpal-tunnel-syndrome (thank you to bentonflocke for reminding me what it is called!). It is a medical condition in which the median nerve is compressed at the wrist, leading to paresthesias, numbness and muscle weakness in the hand. the whole point is i need to wear these wrist guards to support my wrists. (but the real problem is i cannot do the chore with them on...grrrrrr!). so i wear them when i go to bed.

october 29 -- the leaves have fallen. the trees in front of our apartment are almost bare. in a couple of days they will be .
