nitz was out for a job interview so sofia and i went to pick up rafael and isabelle at the bus drop off. i brought my camera to take some pictures of the kids. as i was taking some pictures of sofia, this girl (about 9 or 10 yrs old...) said "can i have a picture too!'. so i said " yes of course!". so i took a picture of her and sofia. then she said "do you want me to take a picture of both of you?". i was a bit hesitant because i don't let strangers hold my camera, but since a picture of me and sofia would be nice, i put the camera strap around the girl's neck to make sure it wouldn't fall. this is the picture she took! i had to take the camera after that one shot... to be safe.
the bus arrived and the kids and I walked home. when we got in front of the house i took their pictures.
and here is a close-up picture of their snow boots and their snowpants (they are required to wear those in school).
i let them play a bit on the snow covered lawn before we entered the house.
