30 May 2010: DAY 150 (WEEK 22)

it's nitz birthday!!! unfortunately we didn't have anything planned for him because we had other things scheduled for the day.
i woke up very early to tidy up the house because guests were coming after lunch. then around 10 am i had to go to our volleyball game. isabelle and rafael came with me to cheer for us. nitz and sofia stayed at home. the game started late and ended way past 12. we lost... too bad. anyway, i rushed home because nitz had to go to his basketball game!
anyway, the choir at st. joseph organized a little get-together so bid us farewell. they brought food and drinks with them. it was really sweet of them to do this for me and my family....from the bottom of my heart--thank you very much!!
to all my choirmates:
thank you very much for doing this party for me and my family. i will cherish all the memories we have shared. i will miss you all very much... and i hope you will have the time to keep in touch.
and to mark:
thank you for your patience (i know i am not that good a cantor..but you never gave up on me). you are such a wonderful and talented person. and you have handled the choir really well. thank you so much for everything....!

to fr. francis:
thank you for coming to our party! you have such a good heart... and a truly wonderful priest. we will miss you!

oh.. it was mother's day too!! i have a little gift from isabelle. she made something in school especially for mother's day -- strawberry jam!!

to nitz... i know we didn't get to celebrate your special day but always remember how much me and the kids love you.

would you believe our day didn't end there...
a friend of mine from manchester arrived that night (11:30 pm)! she just got her british passport so she took the opportunity to come to paris while i am still here!
when she arrived here in the house, we stayed up until 2am talking about so many things....

what a long day....
