01 JANUARY 2011: day 1 (week 53...from last year)

as soon as we heard the announcement on the radio that it is NEW YEAR, the kids started jumping. it is a belief that if you jump you will grow taller! (though i am a proof that it is not true...hahaha but i didn't tell the kids about it.)




and here is my brother, kuya ed, and his wife, ate mel. 'kuya' is how we filipino's address our older brother and 'ate' for our older sister (even sisters-in-law).

we went home around 2am. then we attended the 10:45 mass that morning.


we invited fr. anthony for lunch! he brought this very interesting board game for the kids--Bible-opoly. One uses 'offerings' to buy a city/town. the goal is to build a CHURCH! it was fun!
