WEEK 19: 4 - 6 may

6 may 2009
these are new friends of ours!!! they are myla and jaime olan, jaime is the cousin of our old family friend. i am really glad they took time to visit us and have dinner with us tonight. a very nice couple and i am glad to have met them.

now my youngest daughter discovered that she can climb the computer chair by herself and i caught her up on the chair busy on the keyboard!! good thing i am not working on anything... now i cannot leave her alone in our room for a long time.

i have been meaning to take a photo of rafael's school and today i accomplished that. i don't know much longer he will be staying in this school (because i don't know how much longer we will be staying in paris). he has gone here for 4 school years now. isabelle goes to the same school, actually same building but she enters the other side of the building.

4 may 2009
my mom-in-law went with me to pick up the kids from school. on our way home, i took this picture of her and isabelle.
during her stay here (almost three months now), isabelle has grown really attached to her. she reads her stories, taught her how to add, and they sing songs together (both english and french!!). i don't know if isabelle knows her 'lola' (grandma in Filipino) will be going home soon. i know she will miss 'lola'....

nice new friends :) btw ang ganda nyo ni isabelle sa pic na yun. you should crop and scrap :)

oh sofia.... matalino. one word. MANA. HAHAHAH watch her closely...i see you ending up with a broken PC hahaha i kid i kid.

the school looks nice.. is that for elementary? what grade is rafu in? i hope you guys stay in paris or move here.

im glad isabelle is loving the time with mama marie. i miss those days when i just hung out with mommy and daddy. i hate being so far away, its like time passes by really slow for me yet i feel like its going so fast for mommy and dad that its slipping away from me. i miss them so much. what i wouldn't give to spend time with them like we used to, the farm, the fresh fruits, the simple meals, just everything. take lots of pics, later isabelle will appreciate it and so will rafu anf sofia.

hey remember when i was younger and you were home with me, we had to cook rice sa kaldero and after we placed the pot on the stove we went to rea's? then we came back and the rice was burnt.. i think we got in trouble. those were the days... i miss home.

Love the photos - especially of the school - looks just how I imagined a Parisian school would look!
