WEEK 39: september 25-27

september 27 -- we enrolled rafael for swimming lessons. this year they are required to learn how to swim. they do not have enough swimming classes so we enrolled him for some sessions outside the school. first meeting was orientation and evaluation. formal lessons will start next meeting.

september 26 -- tita tess and tito carlos left for lourdes early in the morning, scheduled to return to paris on monday (sept 28).

our friends from church, juliet and chris, finally got married! rafael was the coin bearer and i sang during the mass. it was a wonderful wedding.


september 25 -- these are tita tess and tito carlos, our friends from canada. remember the other day i was busy cleaning the house because i have guests coming...? well, they finally arrived. they landed around 7:30 am and reached our house at around 9:30. after a quick breakfast, we headed out to see paris! i took them to the street market near our place. then went back home to eat lunch. then after lunch i took them to the eiffel tower. it was such a beautiful day, the sky was clear and it was warm. what a perfect day for sightseeing! we had some really good pictures! well, at around 4pm we rushed to my kids school to pick them up. it was a productive first day in paris.
