monina, another friend of ours, also came but didn't catch gigi in the house. monina said she did see gigi at the bus stop and they exchanged some quick hi's and hello's! hahaha!
that night while we were eating dinner, monina called. she asked us to check the news on tv about the closing of some airports due to the volcanic erruption in iceland. she was concerned about gigi's flight. and when we saw the news on tv, we knew gigi would not be flying out tomorrow....

This volcanic business is crazy. Think that they would close down flight traffic in complete Europe! I feel so sorry for people far from home, far from their loved ones. I know I would be so upset if Daniel would have been on a business trip and not able to get home. But on the other side, some get to spend more time together when they can't leave. =)
